In order to fully implement the national education policy, implement all-around quality education, improve students' practical ability and innovation ability, change the concept of talent growth, and build a diversified talent growth overpass, on June 27th to 29th, according to the requirements of "Implementation Plan for Social Practice Activities of Junior Middle School Students in Jinshan District (Trial Implementation)" (Jinshan Education Comprehensive [2019] No.3), Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College organized career experience activities for the students of the eighth grade of junior high school (Jinshan Southern Zone) based on the advantages of running the school and high-quality educational resources.
During the activity, the north and south campuses of the school carefully organized 27 rich experience projects. A total of 2,304 students from 15 junior high schools in Jinshan District (Southern Zone), including Mengshan Middle School, Shanyang Middle School and Jinmeng School, came to our school to participate in career experience activities.
In the College of Economics and Business, eight career experiences, such as student company, Song-style tea making, western-style pastry, catering service and management, are wonderful, helping students understand different career positions, establish correct career concepts and better adapt to the needs of future work.
In the College of Intelligent Manufacturing, 11 experience projects, such as web design, magic motor, dreamful nightlight, fitter mini-production and electrical mini-production, are colorful, helping students to understand career types, inspire career interests and explore future career planning.
In the College of Chemical Engineering, eight career experience projects, such as on-site first aid, ignition into shaping like a snake, sewage detection and Evonik rectification, are interesting, so that students can truly feel the unique charm of different careers through hands-on practice.
Guided by "training socialist builders and successors with all-round development in their moral grounding, intellectual ability, physical vigor, aesthetic sensibility and work skills", this career experience activity strongly guides eighth-grade students to know different career roles, understand career characteristics, experience different posts, feel experience process, cultivate career interests, initially form awareness and ability of career planning, and guide them to carry forward labor spirit, correctly understand labor values, and enhance labor consciousness and career planning ability.
