In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and solidly promote the work of "Co-support and Co-construction", on July 31st, prior to the 96th "August 1st Army Day", Gao Ju, secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College, and Chen Xiaobin, president of the school, led the school leadership team members to visit officers and soldiers of stationed armed police and coastal defense forces.
Gao Ju and his party first came to the Third Brigade of the Fifth Detachment of the Armed Police of Shanghai Corps. Gao Ju expressed heartfelt thanks to the stationed armed police for their help and support in military teaching and other aspects over the years, and extended holiday greetings and high respect on behalf of the school. During the discussion, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on campus safety and technical defense, and reached a fruitful consensus. The two sides stated that it is necessary to further enrich the connotation of military-civilian joint construction, find out the fields of joint construction in depth, and create a new model of integrated development.
Later, Gao Ju and his party came to the coastal defense forces temporarily stationed in the school to express greetings and gratitude. Gao Ju had an in-depth exchange with the heads of the troops to learn more about the drills of officers and soldiers' training subjects. Gao Ju encouraged officers and soldiers to obey the Party's command, win the battle, have fine conduct of work, persevere in training exercises and be loyal guardians of the Party and the people. Gao Ju said that the school will do its best to meet the needs of the troops and provide good accommodation, catering and training conditions.
Military-civilian co-construction is a fine tradition formed by our Party and army in the long-term revolutionary struggle and social practice. With the fundamental purpose of close military-civilian relations and enhancing military-civilian unity, the school will further deepen the inheritance of this fine tradition, and develop a good military-civilian relationship of "sharing the same destiny" to work together to achieve the Party's general task and goal.
