On December 12th, the 4th Council of the 2nd Session of Jinshan Vocational Education Group and its 10th anniversary activities were held in our school. Cao Jie, Deputy Head of Jinshan District People's Government and Chairman of Jinshan Vocational Education Group, attended the ceremony. Zheng Ying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Jinshan Education Bureau, heads of relevant government departments in Jinshan, heads of large and medium-sized enterprises, associations and colleges in the group, representatives of talent cultivation bases, and representatives of specially appointed part-time teachers attended the meeting.
Cao Jie put forward three expectations for the work of Jinshan Vocational Education Group: First, we should improve our position and accurately grasp the new direction of high-quality vocational education development; Second, we must cooperate in many ways and constantly gather new impetus for the development of high quality vocational education; Third, we should focus on key points and carefully plan new measures to develop high-quality vocational education.
During the activity, President Chen Xiaobin, on behalf of Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College, signed a contract with leaders of BASF Chemical Co., Ltd., Shanghai Jingyi Industrial Co., Ltd. and Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Co., Ltd. to advance school-enterprise cooperation to new heights.
On the micro-forum with the theme of "Building a Community with a Shared Future for Industry-Education Integration in Jinshan Mode", Chen Xiaobin, on behalf of Shanghai Modern Industry Vocational College, Wang Leijie, Party Secretary and General Manager of Shanghai Bohai Catering Co., Ltd., Chu Weibing, Director of Jinshan Employment Promotion Center, and other guests, discussed the development of industry-education integration.
The ceremony also commended "Group’s Excellent Research Projects of Integration of Industry and Education", and the project presided over by our school teacher Zhou Hong won the second prize.
Before the ceremony, the guests, led by Chen Xiaobin, visited School History Museum and Cross-enterprise Training Center, felt the ever-changing changes of the school, inspected the advanced equipment and facilities on the spot, and learned about the effective management mode.
After the ceremony, in an interview with Jinshan Convergence Media, Chen Xiaobin emphasized that the school will adhere to the school-running orientation of "new higher vocational education, modern chemical industry, integration of industry and education, and international vision", follow the development strategy of "carrying forward the tradition and forging ahead into the future, employing and cultivating talents at the same time, focusing on key points and improving in an all-round way", and implement the school-running measures of "specialty construction as the priority, teacher cultivation as the core, system construction as the guarantee, and integration of school-running elements as the highlight", Towards the goal and vision of "a distinctive and high-level modern chemical university", we will solidly promote the construction and high-quality development of the new higher vocational college.
