On December 28th, Lu Yi, vice chairman of Jinshan District Committee of Zhi Gong Dang, visited our school for inspection and exchange. Gao Ju, secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College, and Du Haiyan, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of our school, warmly received Lu Yi and his party.
On behalf of the school, Gao Ju extended a warm welcome to Lu Yi and his party for their inspection and exchange, and made a special report on "building a highland of vocational education and a cradle of craftsman spirit". In the report, Gao Ju outlined General Secretary Xi Jinping's relevant exposition on vocational education and the layout of vocational education in the "14th Five-Year Plan" of Jinshan District. He focused on the school's characteristic construction and achievements, and analyzed the bottleneck problems faced by the current development. Gao Ju emphasized that the school attaches great importance to the work of the United front and will continue to support grassroots organizations of democratic parties to strengthen their own construction, consolidate the ideological and political work of non-party intellectuals and the construction of non-party personnel, and create a good atmosphere and favorable conditions for non-party intellectuals to perform their duties and play their roles.
Lu Yi thanked the school for its strong support to the work of Zhi Gong Dang and briefly introduced the history of Zhi Gong Dang. He spoke highly of the school's characteristics and effectiveness, and fully recognized the outstanding role of the school in regional economic development and regional talent training. He said that Jinshan District Committee of Zhi Gong Dang will deepen its own construction, show a good image, further enhance its sense of responsibility and mission, actively participate in social services and other activities, unite and forge ahead, perform its duties and make due contributions to the development of vocational education.
Before the meeting, Lu Yi and his party, accompanied by Du Haiyan, visited School History Museum, Comprehensive Chemical Training Building, Cross-enterprise Training Center and Intelligent Manufacturing Building.
