On the afternoon of June 20th, Gu Hongwei, secretary of the Party Committee of Jinshan Education Work, came to Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College to survey the construction of School of Marxism. Gao Ju, secretary of the Party Committee of our school, Chen Xiaobin, president of our school, and other school leaders attended the activity.
Gu Hongwei made a survey on the cultivation of the team of ideological and political teachers and the construction of "Great Ideological and Political Course" in our school. He said that the construction of School of Marxism at our college started early, insisted on high-level overall planning, strengthened top-level design, and continuously improved its connotation and quality. He put forward four requirements: first, continue to strengthen the ideological and political education of young students, further promote the construction of "great ideological and political course", and focus on the highlights and characteristics of School of Marxism; Second, adhere to the principle of introducing and training at the same time, innovate ways to broaden the channels of introduction, and strengthen the construction of ideological and political teachers; Third, stick to the principle of coordination of resources, building a work pattern through linkage integration; Fourth, deepen the guidance of the role of projects, make good use of the platform of "New Higher Vocational Joint School of Marxism", and constantly explore and solve problems in teacher training and professional development.
At the meeting, Gao Ju made a special report on guiding ideology, construction objectives, specific measures and efforts. He pointed out that the school attaches great importance to the construction of School of Marxism, always adheres to the clear orientation and school-running principle of School of Marxism and continues to promote Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era into the campus, classroom and students' minds. He said that the school will continue to improve the policy system and organization system for the construction of School of Marxism, and provide institutional support for the scientific governance of School of Marxism.
