In order to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on the working class and trade union work, and vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, labor spirit and artisans, the trade union of Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, together with Shanghai Petrochemical Trade Union and Shanghai Gao Qiao Petrochemical Trade Union, jointly prepare to hold the 2024 Shanghai Chemical Industry Labor Skills Competition. On July 22nd, Xiao Huijuan, vice-chairman of the trade union of Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, led a group of seven people to visit our school, which was warmly received by President Chen Xiaobin. The two sides had an in-depth exchange on the preparations for the competition.
At the symposium, Xiao Huijuan elaborated on the preliminary planning of the competition, spoke highly of our school’s strong teaching staff and advanced training facilities, and emphasized the excellent performance of our school in hosting various skills competitions. She is looking forward to creating a high-quality, high-level and high-standard competition through in-depth cooperation between the school and SCIP, and fully demonstrating the elegance of skilled elites in the chemical industry.
Chen Xiaobin said that the cooperation between the school and SCIP has a long history, and the two sides have achieved fruitful results in building training bases and educating skilled personnel together. He promised that the school will do its best to help the competition run smoothly and ensure that the competition will become a key platform to promote the skills innovation and development of the industry.
Before the symposium, Xiao Huijuan and her party visited the Chemical Industry Comprehensive Training Building. The two sides discussed the details of the venue layout and project setting, so as to strive for perfection and meet high quality standards in every aspect.
This visit not only deepened mutual understanding and trust, but also laid a solid foundation for the upcoming 2024 Shanghai Chemical Industry Labor Skills Competition.
