On July 25th, Yang Xiaodong, Deputy Director of Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau, and Li Shaotang, Director of Dangerous Chemicals Division, accompanied by Sheng Wei, Director of Jinshan Emergency Management Bureau, and Yu Danqun, Deputy Director, visited our school. Huang Hanjun, vice president of the school, participated in the research activities.
During the research, Yang Xiaodong and his party visited the Cross-enterprise Training Center and the Chemical Industry Comprehensive Training Building, and got a detailed understanding of the construction and daily operation process of the training base. Huang Hanjun introduced the characteristics and highlights of the training base to the guests, including advanced training equipment, innovative teaching mode and rich training resources.
Yang Xiaodong pointed out that the hardware facilities of the school training base are complete, and the curriculum design with international standards caters to the actual needs, which effectively improves the safety awareness and operational skills of the trainees and makes positive contributions to the skills training of all kinds of employees in the production and management of the chemical industry in this city. He spoke highly of Shanghai Carbonbay Chemical Safety Training Base, which is located in and run by our school. He pointed out that Shanghai Carbonbay Chemical Safety Training Base was successfully selected as one of the 10 training bases for nationwide promotion and exchange in “the Letter on Promoting the Exchange of Chemical Safety Skills Training Bases and the Construction and Operation Experience of Safety Training Space for Hazardous Chemical Enterprises” recently issued by the Emergency Management Department, which is an important recognition of the school's efforts in the field of chemical safety education and training.
Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau and Jinshan Emergency Management Bureau expressed their appreciation for the high-quality social service work of the school, and believed that the school played an important role in promoting chemical safety education and training, and said that they would continue to support all the work of the school.
