On August 15th, a delegation from Ningbo Emergency Management Bureau arrived in our school to inspect and exchange the chemical training base of our school. The purpose of this research is to deeply understand the advanced experience and practices of Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College Carbonbay Industry Park in establishing one of the top ten demonstration chemical safety skills training bases in China.
At the symposium, the two sides shared their experiences and practices in safety management of chemical parks, and exchanged views on how to better promote school-enterprise cooperation and strengthen safety training in the chemical industry. Yu Danqun, deputy director of Jinshan Emergency Management Bureau, noted that through exchange, she deeply felt that the two sides had a lot in common in chemical safety management. The school is willing to share their experience and achievements with Ningbo and also hopes to draw inspiration from the successful practice in Ningbo. Yan Xiaoli, vice president of Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College, said that she hoped that through the exchange, the two sides can reach more consensus on safety management and personnel training in chemical parks and jointly promote the healthy development of China's chemical industry. Yang Jianfei, director of the Hazardous Chemicals Division of Ningbo Emergency Management Bureau, stressed that during the inspection, he saw many practices worth learning from. Especially in the construction of training bases in chemical parks, as one of the top ten bases in China, Shanghai's experience is very valuable to them. They will bring these good experiences and practices back to Ningbo, apply them in combination with their actual situation, and strive to improve their own safety management capabilities.
Before the symposium, the delegation visited the Cross-enterprise Training Center and the Chemical Industry Comprehensive Training Building on campus. They have a detailed understanding of the functional layout, experimental equipment configuration and daily teaching management process of the training building. During the period, the two sides also discussed how to further improve the safety skills training in the chemical park.
This research not only deepened the mutual understanding between the emergency management agencies of the two places, but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation and exchanges. Both sides expressed their expectation that there will be more opportunities for similar mutual learning and exchange activities in the future to jointly promote the safety management level of China's chemical industry to a new level.
