On September 27th, the Emergency Management Ministry held a meeting in Shandong Province on the construction of chemical safety skills training bases, safety training space for hazardous chemicals enterprises, and the interpretation and experience sharing of operation guidelines. Representatives from the emergency management bureaus at all levels in Shandong Province and some industry parks and enterprises attended the meeting. As one of the invited units, Gao Ju, Party Secretary of Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College, shared and exchanged experience in the construction and operation of chemical safety skills training base on behalf of the school.
The guidance service was organized by the Emergency Management Ministry, and joined with top experts and scholars in many fields, including Xin Li, deputy director of the Training Center of Sinopec Safety Engineering Research Institute (leader of the expert group), Guo Hongyu, director of the Chemical Technology Experimental Center of Tianjin University, Zheng Jian, a professor-level senior engineer of China Occupational Safety and Health Association, and Chen Guoliang, senior engineer of China University of Petroleum(East China). Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College, as an invited higher vocational college, has been highly recognized by the Emergency Management Ministry for its rich experience in training base construction and excellent operation management mode.
Gao Ju said that he is very honored to be invited to participate in this activity and have the opportunity to share the practical experience of the school in the construction of chemical safety skills training base with the peers. Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College has been committed to improving the practical teaching level of chemical engineering specialty, and contributing to the cultivation of high-quality and high-skilled chemical talents by building a high-standard training base. At the exchange meeting, Gao Ju introduced in detail the construction background, design concept, functional layout, curriculum setting, teacher allocation and operation management experience of the school's chemical safety skills training base. At the same time, he also combined the challenges and solutions encountered by the school in the construction of the training base to provide valuable reference for the participants.
Previously, the Carbonbay Industrial Park Chemical Safety Training Base in our school has been rated as one of the top ten demonstration bases in China by the Emergency Management Ministry. This exchange activity is not only a demonstration of the achievements of our school's practical training construction, but also an important opportunity for our school to learn and communicate with peers in the field of chemical safety education all over the country. Our school will continue to deepen the reform of education and teaching, improve the construction level of training base, and contribute to training more outstanding talents majoring in chemical safety.
