On October 18th, a special lecture on "Exploration and Practice of Digital Industrialization Based on E-factory" was held in the Lecture Hall on the 10th floor of the Intelligent Manufacturing Building, which was organized by the Mitsubishi Electric Collaborative Education Base to promote Industry-Education Integration in Shanghai Bay Area. This activity was presided over by Bao Shixi, teacher from School of Intelligent Manufacturing, and lectured by Yang Diping, part-time teacher from enterprise, marketing manager and senior engineer of Mitsubishi Corporation. All students majoring in 240 Industrial Internet Application and 240 Intelligent Control Technology participated.
Yang Diping first introduced the historical development and business scope of Mitsubishi Group to the students. Focusing on industrial automation, he led the students to deeply understand the industrial development process in China, and analyzed the current situation and bottleneck of the intelligent manufacturing technology industry. Finally, Yang Diping explained via real cases that with intelligent manufacturing technology becoming the core of global industrial development, e-factory, as an important practice of digital industrialization, is leading the manufacturing industry to develop in a more efficient, energy-saving and sustainable direction.
Through the lecture, students have a deeper understanding of their major, a clear understanding of the future development direction of the major, and stimulated their interest in learning. At the same time, this lecture also provides students with opportunities to communicate face to face with industry experts, broaden their horizons and stimulate their innovation potential.
