On November 7th, Professor Ge Yuhui, Executive Deputy Director of EDP Center, School of Management, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, and his party visited our school for a friendly visit. The purpose of this visit is to explore cooperation opportunities in the field of vocational education and training, and jointly promote the strong alliance and mutual benefit of higher education resources. The heads of School Office, Training Center, School of Chemical Engineering and International Exchange Office of our school participated in the exchange activities.
In the morning, Professor Ge Yuhui and his party visited our school's Top Ten National Demonstration Bases for Comprehensive Chemical Training. As a leading chemical training platform in China, the base attracts visitors' attention with its advanced facilities and scientific teaching concept. Through on-the-spot investigation, the guests expressed their appreciation for our school's achievements in chemical practice education and expressed their strong interest in future cooperation.
Subsequently, a meeting was held in the Chemical Industry Comprehensive Building. At the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on how to cooperate with their respective superior resources, and discussed a number of issues including project co-construction, teacher alliance and student exchange. Professor Ge Yuhui emphasized that University of Shanghai for Science and Technology attaches great importance to strengthening cooperation with local colleges and universities, hoping that this visit can open a closer cooperative relationship between the two schools. Our school noted that it will fully support the cooperation with the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, expecting to realize resource sharing and complementary advantages in the future, and jointly promote the improvement of training quality and social service level of both sides.
This visit not only deepened the understanding and friendship between the two schools, but also laid a solid foundation for future substantive cooperation. The school will continue to uphold the concept of running the school with an open manner, actively seek cooperation opportunities with well-known universities at home and abroad, and make greater contributions to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled personnel.
