In order to respond to the call of the country to carry forward the spirit of artisans and cultivate highly skilled talents, further promote the deep integration of higher vocational education and industrial development, and foster more talents in the field of intelligent manufacturing with innovative thinking and exquisite skills for the society, on November 13th, our school ushered in a unique grand event——Launching Ceremony for Intelligent Manufacturing Craftsmen Class. Duan Xiaogang, Vice President of Operation of Santoni (Shanghai) Knitting Machinery Co., Ltd, Xiao Wuyun, Dean of Intelligent Factory Research Institute of Shanghai Triowin Intelligent Machinery Co., Ltd., Yan Shenghong, Party Secretary and General Manager of China Petrochemical Catalyst Co., Ltd. Shanghai Branch, and Chen Xiaobin, President of our school attended the ceremony.
In his speech, Chen Xiaobin shared the achievements made by the school in the construction of the new higher vocational college in the past two years. Chen Xiaobin emphasized that the ultimate goal of education is to cultivate talents who can meet the needs of society. The establishment of the Intelligent Manufacturing Craftsman Class is the positive response of the school to this goal. It is hoped that through school-enterprise cooperation, a learning platform combining theory with practice can be provided for students to exercise and grow in a real working environment.
Duan Xiaogang congratulated the establishment of the Intelligent Manufacturing Craftsman Class and reviewed the school-enterprise cooperation between Santoni and the school. Duan Xiaogang pointed out that the establishment of the Intelligent Manufacturing Craftsman Class is a new milestone in the cooperation between the two sides after the new higher vocational college established. He hoped that students will seriously study the cutting-edge intelligent manufacturing technology, improve their practical ability and innovative thinking, and lay a solid foundation for their future careers.
Xiao Wuyun introduced the development of the company and the demand for skilled personnel. Xiao Wuyun said that the company will actively participate in the teaching activities of the class, provide opportunities for learning and practice, help students broaden their horizons and clarify the direction of career planning, and hope to achieve resource sharing through school-enterprise cooperation, promote technological innovation, accelerate personnel training, and promote the upgrading and transformation of the intelligent manufacturing industry.
Yan Shenghong emphasized that the company attaches great importance to the cooperation with our school and actively explores a new mode of school-enterprise cooperation. He hoped that students would seriously study the cutting-edge knowledge and skills of the intelligent manufacturing industry on the broad stage provided by school-enterprise cooperation, enhance their employment competitiveness, become skilled talents needed by the enterprise, and become great craftsmen in the new era.
Zhang Jihuang, head teacher of the newly-established class, said that he would create a positive class atmosphere from the aspects of serving students and contacting enterprises, and hoped that students would continue to pursue excellence and be brave in innovation. Shao Changyi, student representative, expressed his expectation and confidence in his future study career, saying that he would cherish this study opportunity and strive to become a modern craftsman with good professionalism and advanced skills.
The heads of Santoni (Shanghai) Knitting Machinery Co., Ltd, Shanghai Triowin Intelligent Machinery Co., Ltd, China Petrochemical Catalyst Co., Ltd. and relevant departments of the school and all the teachers and students of the Intelligent Manufacturing Craftsman Class attended the launching ceremony. After the ceremony, guests from enterprises visited the Intelligent Manufacturing Building of the school together.
The launching ceremony of the Intelligent Manufacturing Craftsman Class not only provides a learning platform for students, but also builds a bridge of communication and cooperation between our school and enterprises.
