On March 13th, an expert group from China North Industries Talents Research Institute came to our school to conduct special research and exchange around "Construction and Operation of Immersive Safety Production Training Base". Gao Ju, secretary of the Party Committee of the school, and the heads of relevant departments participated in the whole activity.
At first, the expert group visited the Chemical Industry Training Building, and got a deep understanding of the school's historical accumulation in the field of chemical safety, the layout of teaching resources and the integration of production and education. In the Chemical Industry Training Building, the expert group focused on the virtual simulation training facilities and immersive teaching scenes, and spoke highly of the innovative technology and practice mode used by the school in safety production training.
Subsequently, the two sides held a special symposium in the meeting room on the first floor of the Chemical Industry Training Building. Senior experts such as Li Liang, former chairman of Northwest Industrial Group, Bai Chunguang, former deputy director of No. 217 Institute, and Wang Hongzhan, the founder of Liaoyang Chemical Safety Master Studio, shared the safety production needs of the related industry and practical experience and current needs in the fields of virtual simulation technology application and immersive training scenario design. Gao Ju introduced the school's exploration achievements in the cultivation of chemical safety talents, the operation mechanism of training bases and the collaborative education between school and enterprises. The two sides held in-depth discussions on how to further improve the interactivity, experience and effectiveness of safety production training.
This research activity focused on the cutting-edge areas concerning safety production education and training in hazardous chemicals industry, and laid a solid foundation for deepening cooperation between the two sides in the fields of virtual simulation training base construction, technical standards formulation and personnel joint training through field visits and mutual learning.
In the future, the school will continue to give full play to its advantages and join hands with leading units in the industry to jointly promote the education and training of safety production in the direction of digitalization, scenario and specialization, so as to provide a solid talent guarantee for the high-quality development of the industry.
