On the afternoon of April 8, Jin Tao, Deputy Secretary and Director of the Party Committee of Jinshan Education Bureau, came to our school for inspection and guidance. Gu Leifan, Director of the Office of Jinshan Education Bureau, Sun Yijia, Chief of Vocational Education Department, Gao Ju, Secretary of the Party Committee of our school, President Chen Xiaobin and other school leaders accompanied the inspection.
Jin Tao visited the School History Museum, the Chemical Industry and Human Science Popularization Museum, Santoni Training Base of Integration of Production and Education, the Cross-enterprise Training Center, the Chemical Training Building and other key areas to learn more about the school scale, characteristics and achievements of integration of production and education.
Jin Tao affirmed the achievements of the school's high-quality development, responded to the concerns of the school in terms of talent policy and social services, and said that Jinshan Education Bureau would continue to support the school's work. He put forward four hopes for running the school. First, based on the construction of the three bays, the school should seize development opportunities. It should also focus on the construction of five key projects, such as Legoland and petrochemical equipment renovation, optimize the specialty setting, and train more skilled personnel to adapt to industrial upgrading. Second, based on high-level vocational construction, the school should do a good job in the integration of production and education, further improve the excellent school-enterprise cooperation, strengthen the order class, do a good job in international cooperation, and strive to be the industry leader and professional standard setter. Third, it should also continuously optimize the construction of smart campus based on informatization, deepen the achievements in the construction of information-based benchmarking school, further innovate curriculum carriers and improve the effectiveness of education and teaching. Fourth, based on the cultivation of talents, we should cultivate craftsmen in the new era. Relying on various platforms, we will continue to do a good job in teacher training, strengthen the integration of five educations, strive to train students into technical experts before graduation, and provide a solid talent guarantee for the high-quality development of the industry.
At the meeting, Gao Ju introduced the school's achievements from the aspects of school-running history, background of the times, specialty layout, school-running characteristics and personnel training, focusing on the development plan, measures and initial achievements of the new higher vocational education. He said that the school will adhere to the fundamental task of putting morality first, actively meet the strategic requirements of North-South Transformation in Jinshan District, help launch the city brand of Shanghai Bay, adhere to the school orientation of "new higher vocational education, modern chemical industry, integration of production and education, and international vision", implement the "1431" development strategy, strive to create a new highland of vocational education, and solidly promote the construction and high-quality development of new higher vocational education.
