On April 15th, Si Zhongye, deputy director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Center of East China University of Science and Technology, Liu Jinku, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office and director of the Engineering Innovation Practice Center, and other leaders visited our school. Gao Ju, secretary of the Party Committee of the school, and Yan Xiaoli, vice president of the school, warmly received the visiting guests.
Si Zhongye and his party visited School History Museum, Intelligent Manufacturing Building, Cross-enterprise Training Center and Chemical Comprehensive Training Building. In School History Museum, Si Zhongye and his party learned about our school's development process, school achievements and cultural heritage through rich graphic materials and objects. In places such as Cross-enterprise Training Center and Chemical Comprehensive Training Building, Si Zhongye and his party visited the training centers to have an intuitive understanding of the hardware facilities and equipment operation of the school's practical teaching, and expressed appreciation for the practice of integrating production with teaching to cultivate students' practical ability.
After the visit, the two sides held a discussion in the meeting room on the first floor of the Chemical Comprehensive Training Building. Gao Ju introduced the school's chemical safety training, construction and operation of training base, etc. Gao Ju pointed out that the school has been committed to building a high-level comprehensive training base for chemical industry. By continuously optimizing the training course system, strengthening the construction of teaching staff and deepening the cooperation between school and enterprises, it has provided high-quality practical teaching for students and high-quality training and technical services for enterprise employees, and achieved good results in educating people and serving the society. Si Zhongye fully affirmed the operation mode and talent training effect of the school training base, and shared the experience and practices of East China University of Science and Technology in innovation and entrepreneurship education. He said that the equipment renewal of the training base is the key to maintaining the advanced nature of teaching. He hoped that the equipment renewal would help students to carry out innovative experiments and project research and development, stimulate students' innovative vitality and enhance their innovative practical ability. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on how to further strengthen the integration of innovation and entrepreneurship education and professional training, and improve students' comprehensive quality and employment competitiveness.
