On April 16th, 2025, Gu Xuefeng, deputy director of the Team Affairs Department of Shanghai Fire Rescue Corps, and Yang Wenqing, political commissar of Jinshan Fire Rescue Detachment, and other leaders came to our school to carry out special research work, and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the training of fire rescue professionals. President Chen Xiaobin, Vice President Huang Hanjun and relevant department leaders warmly received them and participated in the discussion.
Chen Xiaobin extended a warm welcome to the leaders of Shanghai Fire Recue Corps, and expressed heartfelt thanks to the fire brigade leaders for their concern and support for the construction of the school's fire rescue specialty. He said that the development of fire rescue technology specialty can’t be separated from the guidance and help of Shanghai Fire Rescue Corps. The school will take this survey as an opportunity to further optimize the specialty construction, increase the input of resources, strengthen the construction of teaching staff, improve the quality of personnel training, and deliver more outstanding talents for the fire cause.
Gu Xuefeng spoke highly of the professional training of students majoring in fire rescue technology in the school. He pointed out that the school has done a lot of solid and effective work in specialty construction, curriculum setting and practical teaching. He hoped that the school would further strengthen cooperation with the fire brigade, deepen the integration of production and education, and jointly explore new modes and methods of training fire rescue technology talents.
In the exchange and discussion session, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on key tasks such as the employment of students majoring in fire rescue technology and the construction of teaching staff. In view of students' employment, the two sides discussed how to broaden employment channels and improve employment quality. In terms of the construction of teaching staff, both sides agreed to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between government and school, and improve teachers' professional level and teaching ability by introducing outstanding talents and carrying out teacher training.
The inspection by the leaders of Shanghai Fire Rescue Corps pointed out the direction for the development of the school's fire rescue technology specialty and strengthened the communication and cooperation between the school and the fire brigade. The school will take this survey as an opportunity to deepen the reform of education and teaching, strengthen the specialty construction, improve the quality of personnel training, provide a solid talent guarantee for the development of fire rescue, and jointly contribute to the protection of urban security and the safety of people's lives and property.
