On May 7th, preparatory meeting of National Consortium for Industry-Education Integration of Hazardous Chemicals Safety and Smart Production was held in our school. Xu Siyuan, Deputy Director of Organization Department and Deputy General Manager of Human Resources Department of Shanghai Petrochemical Co., Ltd., Chen Xiaoyin, Director of Administration Office of East China University of Science and Technology, and Gao Ju, Secretary of Party Committee of our school attended the meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to jointly discuss and promote the construction of National Consortium for Industry-Education Integration of Hazardous Chemicals Safety and Smart Production, and to build an important platform for the safe development and personnel training of hazardous chemicals industry.
Gao Ju introduced in detail the specific work progress of the school in the preparation of the National Consortium for Industry-Education Integration of Hazardous Chemicals Safety and Smart Production. He pointed out that our school actively integrated resources from all sides and made a lot of detailed and fruitful preparations in the early stage, which laid a solid foundation for the smooth establishment of the consortium. The three parties held in-depth discussions on key issues such as the agenda of the inaugural meeting of the consortium, the establishment of the secretariat, and the articles of consortium. All parties agreed that the inaugural meeting should ensure the scientific and reasonable process, fully demonstrate the significance of the establishment of the consortium, attract more industrial enterprises and colleges to participate in it, and jointly make suggestions for the development of hazardous chemicals safety and smart production. The formulation of the articles of consortium should be able to clarify the objectives, purposes, organizational structure, rights and obligations of members of the consortium, and provide a solid institutional guarantee for the long-term development of the consortium.
After the meeting, the guests visited School History Museum, Cross-enterprise Training Center and Chemical Comprehensive Training Building. Modern training facilities, advanced teaching equipment and scientific functional layout left a deep impression on the guests, who unanimously praised the training conditions of the school and thought that they provided a solid foundation for the construction of the consortium.
