On May 15th, our school and Pulcra Fine Chemical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. held a meeting in our school. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on issues such as students' internship and employment, enterprise staff training, formation of order classes, and establishment of enterprise scholarships, so as to seek a new chapter in the integration of production and education. Chen Xiaobin, president of the school, and Jin Jiahong, HR manager of Pulcra Chemicals Asian attended the meeting, along with heads of relevant departments of both sides.
At the meeting, Chen Xiaobin introduced the orientation of running the school and the goal of talent training after the school was newly established as a higher vocational college. He emphasized that the school has always adhered to the vocational education concept of "service-oriented and employment-oriented", and established in-depth cooperation with more than 200 well-known enterprises at home and abroad, such as BASF and Covestro, by building training bases, training teachers and establishing corporate scholarships, and delivered a large number of urgently needed technicians and technical talents for enterprises. This cooperation with Pulcra will further expand the path of collaborative education between the school and the enterprise, focus on promoting the training of targeted talents, integrate enterprise technical standards into the curriculum system, and realize the seamless connection between campus and workplace. Jin Jiahong said that Pulcra, as a multinational company deeply involved in the field of surfactants, has accelerated its layout in the fields of green chemistry and intelligent manufacturing in recent years, and there is an urgent need for high-quality technical and skilled personnel. She highly recognized the achievements of the school in the field of chemical vocational education, and put forward cooperative ideas such as jointly setting up "Pulcra Order Class", adjusting the management methods of enterprise grants, and jointly building an internship training base.
Both participants agreed that they would take this meeting as an opportunity to explore the modern apprenticeship training mode of "school-enterprise cooperation and alternation of work and study", promote the deep integration of teaching chain and industrial chain, and help Jinshan District build a world-class fine chemical industry cluster.
