On May 15th, Gao Ju, secretary of the Party Committee of our school, led a team to Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shanghai Petrochemical) to inspect the key construction project proposed by National Consortium for Industry-Education Integration of Hazardous Chemicals Safety and Smart Production——Aromatics Plant Chemical Talents and Skills Practice Base. Ni Hongbing, deputy general manager of Shanghai Petrochemical Training Center, Jiang Youjun, director of the General Office of Aromatics Department, and other leaders accompanied the inspection.
As a demonstration project of the national consortium of integration of production and education, the base plans to transform the deactivated aromatic hydrocarbon device into a modern practice platform integrating teaching and training, skills assessment and scientific research innovation. Ni Hongbing said that the base plans to build DCS central control room, equipment structure exhibition area and scene teaching area, and uses water to simulate real chemical process, so as to realize the linkage operation of internal and external operations, and can carry out full-scene training such as process cognition, equipment maintenance and process optimization. Gao Ju pointed out that the construction of the base fully embodies the concept of "integration of teaching, learning and innovation", and its situational and systematic design highly matches the talent training needs of chemical professional groups, which can provide real production environment support for teaching links such as cognitive practice, internship and graduation design, and help students achieve "classroom-workplace" seamless connection.
Since the school entered the stage of higher vocational development in 2022, both the school and the enterprise have jointly set up two order classes. The joint construction of this practice base will further promote the deep integration of education chain, talent chain and industrial chain. With the construction and operation of the practice base, the two sides will further give full play to their respective advantages and realize the pragmatic integration of educational resources and enterprise resources. Adhering to the principle of mutual benefit and win-win, and taking the integration of industry and education as a platform, we will continue to explore innovative talent training modes and deliver more high-quality and high-skilled professionals to the chemical industry.
