On May 29th, Yu Hongjun, director of the National Petroleum and Chemical Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee, visited our school for on-the-spot inspection and guidance. Gao Ju, secretary of the Party Committee of our school, and Chen Xiaobin, president of our school, accompanied the inspection and participated in the discussion and exchange.

Yu Hongjun visited School History Museum, Chemical Industry and Human Science Popularization Museum, Cross-enterprise Training Center and Shanghai Safety Skills Comprehensive Training Base for detailed investigation. Through precious illustration, presentation and video materials, she got a comprehensive understanding of the school's development process and talent training concept, observed the chemical production training and interactive experience devices on the spot, and deeply understood the construction of the school-enterprise collaborative education mechanism. She spoke highly of the school's characteristics of "advanced training conditions, in-depth integration of production and education, and distinctive international characteristics".

In the meeting room of the Chemical Comprehensive Training Building, Gao Ju gave a detailed report on school-running characteristics and future development plan. He emphasized that the school is committed to cultivating high-quality technicians and technical talents with innovative spirit and practical ability, and shared the exploration and achievements of the school in the integration of production and education, international exchanges and cooperation. In view of the future development, Yu Hongjun put forward three suggestions: Firstly, strengthen the demand orientation, closely connect with Shanghai's strategic emerging industries, and optimize the specialty layout; Secondly, innovate the training of teachers, update the teaching concept of teachers' higher vocational education, and build a "double-qualified" teacher team; Finally, pay attention to experience summary, focus on safety training, cross-enterprise training and other directions, and systematically cultivate teaching achievement awards in higher vocational education.
Wang Weiping, vice president of Inner Mongolia Vocational College of Chemical Engineering, also participated in the exchange. This visit has injected new impetus into the development of the school, and further clarified the future school-running ideas and effective strategies.
