On June 4th, Shen Chunyan, principal of Shanghai Food Science and Technology School, and other leaders came to our school for communication and exchange. Gao Ju, secretary of the Party Committee of our school, warmly received the visiting guests. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on cooperation issues and talked about a new journey of educational cooperation.
At the meeting, Gao Ju extended a warm welcome to Shen Chunyan and briefly introduced our school's new higher vocational education characteristics and achievements. Gao Ju emphasized that the two schools are both located in Jinshan District and shoulder important mission of serving regional economic and social development. Through exploration and promotion of training mode of vocational schools, the two sides can complement each other and share resources, and further enhance overall level and influence of vocational education in Jinshan District. Shen Chunyan thanked our school for warm reception, and introduced in detail the specialty setting of Shanghai Food Science and Technology School and its characteristics and advantages in food science and technology education. She said that the two schools have a good foundation for cooperation and hoped to strengthen cooperation in various aspects, jointly formulate scientific and reasonable talent training programs, and open up an "overpass" for talent training.
The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on specific issues of secondary vocational education and higher vocational education cooperation. The two sides indicated that they would implement the cooperation details as soon as possible in accordance with relevant national policies of vocational education and promote early implementation of secondary vocational education and higher vocational education cooperation project. This move is not only the innovative practice of implementing national vocational education reform, but also highlights development wisdom of Jinshan Vocational Education based on industrial characteristics and deepening integration of production and education.
