On June 12th, Yuan Liping, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC of Liangping District, Chongqing, and her party came to our school to conduct an in-depth inspection on the development of vocational education. The delegation first entered School History Museum to learn about the development process and cultural accumulation of the college through historical photos, exhibits and video materials. Then, they visited Santoni Training Center, learned about advanced textile equipment and training system, watched the demonstration of intelligent knitting equipment operation, and exchanged views on personnel training and curriculum setting. In Covestro Training Center, the delegation observed the chemical training scene of school-enterprise cooperation, and learned about the role of the training room in chemical personnel training and technological innovation, as well as how students learn advanced technology through training. This mode of school-enterprise cooperation left a deep impression on the delegation.
After the visit, the two sides held discussions and exchanges around the development of vocational education. Zheng Ying comprehensively introduced the overall situation of vocational education in Jinshan District, and shared innovative measures and practical experience in enrolling students of secondary vocational schools, optimizing the allocation of educational resources, and enhancing students' willingness to study. She pointed out that Jinshan District actively builds a good ecology of vocational education through policy guidance and cooperation between industry and education, and provides strong talent support for regional industrial development. Gao Ju shared the experience of school-enterprise cooperation with Covestro. The delegation of CPPCC of Liangping District highly appreciated the development achievements and innovative models of vocational education in Jinshan District, and expressed the hope that these advanced experiences and successful practices could be brought back to Liangping to promote the development of local vocational education. This inspection activity has built a bridge for the exchange of vocational education between the two places.
