On June 19th, Ms Gong Yuping, Chairman of the Board of Directors of INTI College Sabah Malaysia, and her party visited our school. Gao Ju, secretary of the Party Committee of our school, warmly received the guests on behalf of our school.


Gong Yuping and her party first visited School History Museum and got a detailed understanding of our school's development history, school-running philosophy and outstanding achievements. Subsequently, the guests visited Cross-enterprise Training Center and Chemical Comprehensive Training Building with advanced facilities and complete functions, which reflected deep integration of production and education of our school. The guests spoke highly of the excellent school-running conditions, modern training facilities and fruitful achievements in cultivating high-quality technicians and technical talents.

At the symposium, the two sides had in-depth friendly exchanges. Gao Ju introduced the basic situation of our school, including its orientation, specialty characteristics, talent training mode and its exploration and practice in running the school in an international way. Gao Ju said that our school actively responded to the inclusive and open strategy of national vocational education, and looked forward to working with high-quality institutions with international vision such as INTI Sabah College Malaysia to jointly explore new paths for vocational education. Gong Yuping shared the practical experience of the school in promoting the localization of courses, and expressed appreciation for the strong strength and distinctive features of Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College in the field of chemical vocational education. She believed that the two schools have similar specialty setting and development concept, and the cooperation prospects were very broad.
The core topic of the talks focused on deepening international exchanges and cooperation. After full and fruitful discussions, the two sides reached an important consensus and cooperation intention on establishing a long-term and stable cooperative partnership, and decided to work together to create a successful model of vocational education cooperation in Malaysia and even the ASEAN region and cultivate more high-quality technicians and technical talents for the Belt and Road construction.
This visit and successful negotiation marked the official start of the cooperation between our school and INTI Sabah College Malaysia, which laid a solid foundation for our school to further expand its international school-running pattern and enhance its international influence.
