Evonik High-level Leaders Visited Our School to Discuss New Strategies for Deep Cooperation

On August 6th, Dr. Chen Jinqiu, Senior Vice President of Operation and Base Management of Evonik Greater China, led a team to visit our school. Under the background of the current economic environment, Dr. Chen Jinqiu had an in-depth exchange with Gao Ju, secretary of the Party Committee of our school, on deepening the cooperation between school and enterprise.

Before the meeting, Dr. Chen Jinqiu, accompanied by Gao Ju, visited the Cross-enterprise Training Center and the Chemical Comprehensive Training Building. The advanced training equipment, perfect training system and remarkable achievements in the integration of production and education left a deep impression on enterprise representatives. During the visit, Evonik paid special attention to the training room that it participated in establishing.

The meeting focused on the challenges and cooperation issues facing the current economy under internal and external pressures. Dr. Chen Jinqiu frankly introduced the prudent recruitment strategy adopted by the enterprise to survive. At the same time, he emphasized that despite the pressure, talent reserve is still the foundation for the enterprise to achieve long-term development. Gaoju expressed sincere gratitude to Evonik for its long-term support, and especially mentioned the maintenance work of the training room that Evonik actively assisted in recently. He stressed that vocational education must accurately meet the needs of the industry, and the school will dynamically optimize the specialty settings, and is committed to cultivating and delivering "ready-to-use" technical talents for the enterprise. Facing the new situation, the two sides launched a serious discussion on how to further deepen school-enterprise cooperation. The meeting reached an important consensus and both sides decided to further strengthen communication and cooperation and work together to achieve win-win development.

The convening of this meeting marks that the school-enterprise cooperation has entered a new journey of closer and more strategic significance. In the future, the two sides will work together to build a high-quality school-enterprise collaborative education mechanism with risk co-shouldering, resource sharing and win-win results, which will provide more powerful support for cultivating high-quality skilled and technical talents in the chemical industry.
