On August 11th, He Shiliang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch of Yeji Vocational School in Lu 'an, Anhui Province, and Dou Huaren, Vice President, and other teachers visited Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College. On the basis of the cooperation agreement signed in the earlier stage, the two sides held a discussion on further deepening the intensive training cooperation of vocational skills competition. The purpose of this training is to help Yeji Vocational School make new breakthroughs in the skills competition in Anhui Province through resource sharing and mutual cooperation. Chen Xiaobin, president of our school, attended the activity and made detailed arrangements for related special work.
At the meeting, the two sides reviewed the cooperation achievements in the fields of teacher training, specialty construction and personnel cultivation since the signing of the cooperation agreement in 2023. The talks focused on the key point of deepening cooperation, namely "Intensive Training for Skills Competition". It was clearly stated that the resources of the national training base of Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College would be fully utilized to provide pre-competition intensive training and technical support for the teachers and students of Yeji Vocational School. During the meeting, President Chen Xiaobin hoped that the relevant departments of the school could tailor and implement the skills upgrading plan for the six students and instructors who come to participate in the training, so as to ensure sophisticated technical guidance and meticulous logistics support.
Before the meeting, He Shiliang and his party visited the landmark training places of our school, including the Cross-enterprise Training Center and the Chemical Comprehensive Training Building. The center integrates the functions of intelligent manufacturing, chemical operation and safety emergency drills, and is equipped with a training base jointly established by international enterprises such as Covestro and Evonik. Its advanced equipment and "pre-job and post-job integration" training mode have been highly praised by higher authorities and peers. The visiting guests highly praised the practical achievements of production-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation of our school.
This cooperation is an important measure for Shanghai and Anhui to further implement the agreement on co-construction of vocational education in Jinshan and Yeji. Chen Xiaobin emphasized that our school will continue to give full play to the unique advantages of Shanghai's vocational education resources and actively promote in-depth exploration of cross-regional talent co-education and teaching collaboration. The two sides plan to accumulate valuable experience through training and cooperation in this competition training, strive to build a replicable inter-provincial vocational education cooperation model, and jointly cultivate and deliver more high-quality technical and skilled talents for regional industrial upgrading.
