On October 17th, leaders of the Mechanical and Electrical Professional Committee of the Research Center for International Inspection and Quarantine Standards and Technical Regulations of the General Administration of Customs, accompanied by Cai Chunhao, Commissioner of Jinshan Customs, visited our school for investigation. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges around the core issues such as co-construction of practical training resources, collaborative education in Industry-University-Research, and industry personnel training, so as to build a communication bridge for follow-up cooperation. Gao Ju, secretary of the Party Committee of our school, attended the event.
During the trip, the team visited the Cross-enterprise Training Center, the National Hazardous Chemicals Safety Virtual Simulation Training Center and other training places. In the Cross-enterprise Training Center, the team stopped to carefully check the production line layout of the pilot training project, and asked in detail about the equipment operation parameters, training course design and school-enterprise co-construction mode. In the National Hazardous Chemicals Safety Virtual Simulation Training Center, the team experienced the emergency rescue simulation of the pilot plant of C2 hydrogenation in the immersive experience area, visited the pipeline disassembly training site, learned about the training operations such as equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, and paid special attention to the operation projects of hazardous chemicals safety industry. The team highly affirmed the construction of the training system that closely meets the needs of the industry.
In the discussion session, our school expressed its willingness to cooperate around building a training base and carrying out Party building, which provided specific ideas for the two sides to deepen cooperation and realize complementary resources and coordinated development. Gao Ju systematically introduced the specific achievements made by the school in focusing on chemical and safety fields, deepening school-enterprise cooperation and promoting the integrated development of Industry-University-Research from the aspects of discipline groups, school-running characteristics and combination of education and training, and showed the school's advantages and development plans in characteristic fields. Cai Chunhao combined with actual needs of customs work, and put forward a clear vision for future cooperation. He hoped that with the help of the current high-quality training resources of the school, according to the customs standards and training requirements, the training resources in line with the actual customs work scene could be jointly developed to help train customs professionals.
This activity further strengthened the communication between our school and the customs system, and laid a solid foundation for the in-depth cooperation between the two sides in joint cultivation and training of customs talent. The two sides indicated that they would take this opportunity to establish a normalized exchange mechanism, give full play to their respective advantages, and jointly promote mutual win-win and development.
