Good news came from 2025 Belt and Road and BRICS Competition of Skills Development and Technology Innovation.
Teachers and students from Intelligent Manufacturing School of our school participated in the second "Industry 4 Event". Mr. Zhang Jihuang and Mr. Zhou Yuanhang, teachers from Intelligent Manufacturing School, won the second prize in the second "Industry 4.0 Event" teachers’ competition, and Yang Xinyi and Ye Lishi coached by the two teachers won the third prize in the students’ competition, and the school won the excellent organization award.
This year's "Industry 4.0 Event" attracted nearly 200 contestants from 18 provinces and cities across the country to participate in the skills competition in the field of intelligent manufacturing. The competition closely followed the cutting-edge technology of Industry 4.0, covering core modules such as sensor detection, PLC control, industrial network, MES system, digital twin and low-code development, and comprehensively tested all-round ability of the contestants in system integration, programming and debugging. The competition adopts the form of team competition, and the teams need to complete many tasks such as intelligent hardware assembly, system programming, simulation and debugging within a limited time.
Mr. Tang Haojie and Mr. Lu Xiulin, teachers from Intelligent Manufacturing School, won the third prize in the first "Digital Multi-axis Machining Innovation and Intelligent Manufacturing Competition", while students Zhuang Rui and Qiu Zichen coached by Mr. Lu Xiulin and Mr. Wu Caijun won the third prize in students’ competition.
This year's "Digital Multi-axis Machining Innovation Manufacturing Event" covers three groups: secondary vocational group, higher vocational group and teachers’ group, attracting 49 teams and 98 players from all over the country to compete on the same stage, and the competition is fierce. This event focuses on digital multi-axis machining technology, covering automatic programming, digital innovation verification, five-axis virtual and real synchronous machining and measurement, aiming at examining the comprehensive application ability of players in the field of innovative manufacturing.
It is reported that the BRICS Competition is an international authoritative competition approved by the BRICS Industrial and Commercial Council and filed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It has been written into the Work Report of the BRICS Industrial and Commercial Council for nine consecutive years, and it has also been selected into the competition catalogue of the University Student Competition Analysis Report of China Higher Education Society, with high recognition from the industry.
