Recently, the list of winners of the third Shanghai Vocational College Students’ Innovation and Creativity Competition was announced. Due to sophisticated organization of our school, outstanding results were achieved in this competition, including 2 gold medals, 9 silver medals, 8 bronze medals, 6 merit awards, and Excellent Organization Award, which is a double breakthrough in both quantity and quality.



The school attached great importance to this competition, and set up a working group since its inception to promote the preparation and project cultivation of the competition as a whole. From beginning to end, Yan Xiaoli, vice president, paid close attention to preparation for the competition and guided the working group to provide strong support for teachers and students' creative thought and project optimization by carefully organizing the school-level preliminary competition, simulated defense and special training. On the day of the final, she visited the site in person and gave final advice and guidance, which fully reflected the importance attached by the school to innovation and entrepreneurship. The project instructor followed up the whole process, from technical support, work presentation to roadshow display, giving all-round and meticulous guidance to the participating students, which showed the school's educational concept of "students-oriented, deep cultivation and innovation". The students didn't live up to high expectations, and the school won Excellent Organization Award for its careful organization and solid preparation.



Gold Award of Science and Technology Innovation Group
This project focuses on school-enterprise collaboration to empower enterprises to upgrade their production, and carries out in-depth cooperation between school and enterprises closely following the actual needs of automatic upgrading in enterprises. Through collaborative research and development by both school and enterprises, the high-flexibility rotor motion control technology is applied to the production process, the semi-finished valve core is loaded by the annular magnetic suspension line rotor, and the intelligent control strategy is customized according to the production of enterprises, so that the overall production efficiency of cooperative enterprises’ workstation is effectively improved, and the problem of enterprise production upgrading is effectively solved by the technical empowerment of school-enterprise collaboration.

Gold Award of Science and Technology Innovation Group
The core innovative technologies of this project are as follows: parametric modeling based on CAD/CAE/CAM integrated platform, and real-time simulation control by using five-axis machining digital twin technology. The quality traceability system is built through high-precision 3D scanning, which greatly shortens the customization cycle, reduces the trial production cost, and helps the design and manufacture of spacecraft hinges to upgrade to higher precision and higher efficiency.

The achievement shows the effectiveness of our school in promoting close connection between innovation and entrepreneurship education and industrial demand. The school will continue to implement the mechanism of promoting teaching, innovation and learning by competition, further build an interdisciplinary innovation platform, support more teachers and students to face the development of regional industries, devote themselves to scientific and technological innovation and creative practice, cultivate high-quality talents with solid skills and pioneering spirit, and continue to contribute wisdom and strength to the construction of Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Center and the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry.
