On the morning of April 23, Vice President Yan Xiaoli led a delegation to Shanghai Huayi New Materials Co., Ltd. for a special exchange on school-enterprise cooperation. The delegation included Hu Dijun, Party Branch Secretary of the School of Chemical Engineering, Yang Liaoyuan, Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering, Niu Yajie, Associate Dean; Lu Yanyan, Deputy Director of the Scientific Research Office, and several key faculty members from the school. The visit was warmly received by relevant department heads of Shanghai Huayi New Materials Co., Ltd.
Accompanied by the company’s representatives, the school team first toured the company’s digital intelligence exhibition hall. The hall featured digital sandboxes, intelligent control platforms, and other multimedia displays, presenting the company’s cutting-edge achievements in high-end new material R&D, green and low-carbon production, and smart operations. During the subsequent symposium, the two sides engaged in in-depth and practical discussions on multiple topics, including the internship and employment arrangements for the 230 and 240 students, joint faculty development, the construction of industry-education integration communities, the exploration of co-building industrial colleges, the "Five Golden" construction, and school-enterprise collaborative research projects. A range of consensus was reached. Both parties agreed to accelerate the refinement of a detailed cooperation roadmap, promote the close alignment of the education chain with the industrial chain, and jointly cultivate highly skilled technical talents for the regional modern chemical industry.
