On April 27, a seven-member delegation led by Xu Wanjie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Manager and Director of Guangxi Qinzhou Linhai Industrial Investment Group Co., Ltd., visited our school to inspect the development and operation of the Carbonbay Chemical Safety Training Base. Vice President Zhang Haixia received the delegation.

The delegation toured the training base. Zhang Haixia provided a detailed introduction to the base’s planning, design, site construction, and equipment configuration, as well as its market-oriented operation model, faculty development, and training curriculum system. Xu Wanjie spoke highly of the base’s achievements, noting that our school strictly follows the "Five Ones" standards outlined in the Guidelines for the Construction of Chemical Safety Skills Training Bases, and has developed a systematic curriculum covering the entire chain of practitioners in chemical industrial parks. He expressed hope for deepened exchanges and cooperation between both sides to achieve mutually beneficial development. The two parties held in-depth discussions on topics such as school-enterprise collaboration mechanisms and talent cultivation for chemical training bases, reaching multiple cooperation consensuses.
Guangxi Qinzhou Linhai Industrial Investment Group is the main entity responsible for the development of infrastructure and major projects in the Qinzhou Port Economic and Technological Development Zone, including the operation of the Qinzhou Petrochemical Industrial Park. In 2023, the output value of the Qinzhou Petrochemical Industrial Park exceeded 100 billion yuan for the first time, making it the first petrochemical industrial park in Southwest China to reach this milestone. The park has been listed among the Top 30 Chemical Industrial Parks in China for 11 consecutive years.
This exchange visit built a platform for mutual learning in the field of chemical safety training between Shanghai and Guangxi, helping to promote the deep integration of chemical safety talent cultivation and industrial needs, and supporting the safe development of the chemical industry in the Beibu Gulf region.
