On May 15, the closing ceremony of 2026 Jinshan Craftsmanship College Xin Gong School Skills Enhancement Program – Safety Training for Team Leaders in Green Chemical Enterprises was held at Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College. The ceremony was attended by Tao Lehui, Vice Chairperson of Jinshan Federation of Trade Unions, Bi Yulong, President of Jinshan Branch, Shanghai Open University, Zhang Haixia, Vice President of Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College, and all participating trainees.

The training program was sponsored by Jinshan Federation of Trade Unions and organized by Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College. It focused on enhancing the safety production management capabilities and professional safety skills of team leaders in green chemical enterprises. The training commenced on April 17 and lasted five days, covering modules such as sustainable development concepts, responsible care, craftsmanship spirit, technical principles, energy saving and consumption reduction, pollution prevention, fault handling, risk identification, safety practice, and digital experience. Adopting a combination of theoretical lectures and hands-on exercises, the program effectively improved the comprehensive competence of the participants.

In her speech, Tao Lehui noted that as the inaugural training session of Jinshan Craftsmanship College, this program had achieved great success around the themes of green development and safety, thanks to the collaborative efforts of all organizing units. She expressed her hope that all trainees would take this training as a new starting point: first, act as "sowers" by promoting green and safety concepts at the grassroots level, building the first line of defense for work safety; second, serve as "converters" by applying innovative thinking to solve safety production challenges and translating what they have learned into tangible results; third, be "pacesetters" by continuously pursuing lifelong learning and contributing to the sustainable development of their enterprises.

At the ceremony, the attending leaders presented certificates of completion to the trainee representatives and awarded certificates of honor to three outstanding participants: Yi Bilin, Liu Jie, and Hu Xin. In his speech, an outstanding trainee representative reviewed the training journey, shared learning insights, and expressed that he would apply the acquired knowledge and skills to practical work, truly integrating learning with practice and setting an example for others.
The training program was successfully completed. The trainees will transform the outcomes of the training into practical abilities that promote work safety and green development in their enterprises, providing skills support for high-quality regional development.
