Sinopec (Shanghai) Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology Co., LTD. Visits Our School for Exchange and Research

To further promote the integration of industry and education, deepen the mechanism of school-enterprise collaborative education, and precisely align the development of the chemical industry with the cultivation of high-quality technical and skilled talents, a delegation from Sinopec (Shanghai) Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology Co., LTD., led by Peng Zhenlei, Director of the Party Committee Organization Department (Human Resources Department), visited our school on May 26th for research and exchange activities. President Chen Xiaobin warmly received the delegation.

During the symposium, Chen Xiaobin provided a detailed overview of the school’s overall operations, educational characteristics, and achievements. He systematically showcased the school’s accomplishments in areas such as the "Five Golden Projects" (referring to key construction initiatives in majors, curricula, faculty, teaching materials, and training bases), skills competitions, and school-enterprise cooperation, fully demonstrating the school’s advantages in aligning with the chemical industry’s development and precisely cultivating technical and skilled talent. Peng Zhenlei systematically introduced the company’s industrial layout, business development, and technological innovation, explaining its core development philosophy of deep commitment to the chemical sector, innovation-driven growth, and empowerment of industrial upgrading. The delegation spoke highly of the school’s clear educational approach, distinctive characteristics, and solid educational outcomes, agreeing that the school’s talent cultivation system for chemical majors is highly compatible with the company’s job requirements, thus creating a strong foundation and broad prospects for cooperation. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on key areas such as program development, talent cultivation, and employment alignment, exploring new pathways for school-enterprise collaborative development.

The delegation also toured the school’s Chemical Comprehensive Training building and the Cross-Enterprise Training Center, praising the high-standard training facilities and practice-oriented teaching model that closely mirrors real production environments.

This research and exchange activity not only deepened mutual understanding between the school and the enterprise but also established an effective communication bridge for aligning chemical talent cultivation with industrial needs. It holds positive and significant implications for advancing the practical integration of industry and education and facilitating the effective connection between the education chain and the industrial chain.
