Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau Visits Our School to Inspect Emergency Rescue Personnel Examination and Training Development

On July 17, a delegation of four led by Lv Yi, Deputy Director of the Rescue Coordination and Emergency Plan Management Division of Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau, visited our school for a research exchange on the development of vocational qualification examination and training for emergency rescue personnel. Gao Ju, Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, attended the meeting and delivered remarks.

During the meeting, Gao Ju extended a warm welcome to Deputy Director Lv Yi and his delegation. He noted that Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College, as a high-level talent cultivation base rooted in Shanghai’s chemical industry, has long adhered to the integration of industry and education as well as school-enterprise cooperation, and is committed to serving local economic and industrial development. He emphasized that the school attaches great importance to talent cultivation in the field of emergency rescue, and expressed the hope that this research visit would serve as an opportunity to further deepen cooperation with Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau, jointly advance the standardized training and assessment of emergency rescue personnel vocational qualifications, and contribute to the safe development of the chemical industry in Shanghai and nationwide.

Deputy Director Lv Yi expressed his gratitude for the school’s warm reception. He noted that the purpose of the visit was to gain an in-depth understanding of the school’s facilities and qualification foundations for emergency rescue personnel examination and training, and to promote the implementation of related training and assessment work. He pointed out that Shanghai Modern Chemical Industry Vocational College boasts advanced training facilities and a solid teaching foundation, and that there is broad scope for cooperation between the two sides in areas such as emergency rescue personnel training and assessment.

The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including policies and regulations for vocational qualification training of emergency rescue personnel, faculty allocation, training conditions, assessment standards, and follow-up cooperation pathways, and reached a preliminary consensus on cooperation.

Prior to the meeting, Deputy Director Lv Yi and his delegation, accompanied by Vice President Zhang Haixia, toured the school’s Chemical Comprehensive Training Base. During the on-site visit, the research team gained a detailed understanding of the school’s chemical training equipment and facilities, training teaching model, and safety operation procedures. They spoke highly of the school’s extensive experience and hardware conditions in cultivating chemical safety skilled talents.

This research visit marks an important step in the school’s cooperation with Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau in the field of school-local government collaboration and emergency talent cultivation. Going forward, our school will continue to leverage its professional advantages and training resources, actively advance the construction of an emergency rescue personnel examination and training base, and strengthen the talent support for regional emergency response capabilities, making greater contributions to serving the safe operation of Shanghai as a megacity and the high-quality development of the chemical industry.
