Jiujiang Vocational University Delegation Visits Our School for Exchange and Research

To strengthen interinstitutional collaboration and jointly advance the highquality development of chemical engineering programs, a fivemember delegation from the School of Chemical Engineering of Jiujiang Vocational University, led by Yu Bo, Administrative Head and Li Wei, Party Branch Secretary, visited our school on July 22. Chen Xiaobin, President of our school and Zhang Haixia, Vice President, warmly received the guests. The two sides held indepth discussions on topics including the educational experience of three programs—Applied Chemical Technology, Analytical Testing Technology, and Chemical Intelligent Manufacturing Technology—as well as talent cultivation models, curriculum system design, student employment, and social services. The delegation also made a field visit to Shanghai Huayi New Materials Co., Ltd.

In the morning, the delegation toured the CrossEnterprise Training Center and the Chemical Engineering Practical Training Building, where they observed the hardware facilities and equipment operations firsthand. They gained a thorough understanding of our school’s training conditions and teaching organization, and spoke highly of our school’s approach to fostering students’ practical abilities through industryeducation integration, noting that it embodies the distinctive features of modern chemical vocational education.

After the tour, a symposium was held in the meeting room on the first floor of the Comprehensive Chemical Practical Training Building. Chen Xiaobin extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation and presented our school’s program structure and comprehensive reforms. He emphasized that our school consistently adheres to the principle of “prioritizing service and strengthening contributions,” aligning its program offerings with regional economic and chemical industry needs, and continuously enhancing its capacity to serve regional development. Yu Bo expressed gratitude for the warm reception and the sharing of experiences. He noted that our school’s achievements in industry‑education integration, practical training system development, and talent cultivation reform are both fruitful and distinctive. He expressed hope that the two schools would establish a regular exchange mechanism and work together to promote the connotative development of chemical engineering programs.

In the afternoon, the two parties visited Shanghai Huayi New Materials Co., Ltd. Accompanied by company representatives, the delegation toured the company’s digital intelligence exhibition hall, learning about its cutting‑edge advancements in high‑end new materials R&D, green and low‑carbon production, and smart operations. During the visit, the two schools and the enterprise exchanged views on collaborative mechanisms for school‑enterprise talent development, student internships, and job placement alignment.

This exchange visit not only deepened the understanding and friendship between the two schools but also expanded the scope for cooperation in program co‑construction, joint talent cultivation, and resource sharing. Both sides are committed to advancing educational reform and innovative development, contributing to the cultivation of more high‑caliber professionals who can meet the evolving needs of society.
