To precisely align with the talent demands of the cultural tourism and health care industries, deepen industry-education integration for collaborative education, and refine the development of our newly established programs, Smart Tourism Technology Application and Smart Health Senior Care Service and Management, Vice President Zhang Haixia led a team of faculty members on a field visit to two key enterprises in Jinshan District—Xintianhong Celebrity Golf Club and Yiheyuan Senior Care Institution—during the summer break.
At Xintianhong Celebrity Golf Club, the manager warmly received the delegation and provided a comprehensive overview of the club’s cultural tourism operation model, service job profiles, practitioner competency standards, and the ongoing digital transformation trends within the tourism sector. In turn, the school delegation elaborated on its educational mission, the strategic layout of smart service programs, and the detailed talent cultivation plans and teaching development strategies for the two new programs. The two sides engaged in thorough discussions on practical teaching for the smart tourism program, student internship arrangements, and the joint development of on-campus and off-campus training bases. They also explored ways to integrate industry standards for scenic-area digital operations and high-end hospitality services into the teaching curriculum.
The delegation then visited Yiheyuan Senior Care Institution, where the manager gave the team a guided tour, showcasing its senior care amenities, elderly service scenarios, and smart health digital operation platform. The visit offered a full picture of the institution’s integrated service system covering institutional elderly care, home-based elderly care, and smart care and nursing services. The school and the enterprise then held in-depth talks, exchanging views on the core issues concerning the development of the two programs.
This on-site visit provided accurate, first-hand insights into the frontline talent needs of the cultural tourism and health care industries, offering clear direction for optimizing the talent cultivation plans of our two emerging programs. In the next stage, our school will systematically review the findings from this research, adjust the curriculum to align with enterprise job competency requirements, improve practical training facilities, continue to expand high-quality industry-school cooperation resources, and proactively build collaborative education platforms. Through deep industry-education integration, our school aims to develop distinctive modern service specialties that are closely connected to industrial development, thereby driving the high-quality growth of our relevant programs.
