To implement the "Going Global" strategy in vocational education and precisely align with the talent demands of the internationalized chemical industry, on August 24, a delegation from Lianhe Technology Co., Ltd. visited our school for an enterprise-school exchange seminar. The delegation included Gu Shuyao, HR Director of the Plant Protection Business Unit, and Chen Yongsheng, Deputy General Manager of the Malaysia Johor Bahru Base. Vice Presidents Yan Xiaoli and Zhang Haixia attended the meeting.
Vice President Yan Xiaoli extended a warm welcome to the Lianhe Technology delegation and provided a detailed introduction to the school's educational characteristics, chemical engineering program cluster development, practical training resources, and outcomes in talent cultivation. Gu Shuyao introduced Lianhe Technology's overall industrial layout and the operations of its Malaysia Johor Base, while fully affirming the close collaboration between the two parties in employee training. She highly praised the school's practice-oriented training facilities and well-established talent development system. The training program commissioned by Lianhe Technology for new employees at the Malaysia Johor Bahru Base was successfully being carried out, relying on the school's systematic and professional vocational education resources to bridge skill gaps, standardize operational procedures, and strengthen the foundation for safe production and efficient operations at the overseas base.
The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on key areas of collaboration and agreed to establish a regular exchange mechanism to promote multi-level, deeper enterprise-school cooperation.
