On the afternoon of October 8, Vice President Zhang Haixia led a delegation to Shanghai Jinshan Kumho Sunny Plastics Co., Ltd. for a field visit. The delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the company’s production and operations, job positions, and talent needs, and exchanged views on deepening school-enterprise cooperation and advancing industry-education integration.
During the visit, accompanied by the company’s HR manager, production manager, and quality control head, the delegation visited the company’s laboratory and quality inspection frontline, inspected the production and operation as well as the internship working environment on site, and learned in detail about the company’s development history, core products, and talent team development.
Zhang Haixia introduced the school’s history and the development of its program clusters. The school currently has four major program clusters, among which programs such as Intelligent Manufacturing Technology of Polymer Materials, Applied Chemical Technology, and Analytical Testing Technology are highly aligned with the company’s job requirements.
The company noted that college graduates are an important source of its technical backbone and grassroots management team, and that career development channels are smooth. At present, most technical backbones in various technical positions are college graduates who have grown from frontline roles.
This visit is a concrete measure taken by the school to actively align with regional industrial needs and deepen industry-education integration. Going forward, the school will promptly implement cooperation such as inviting corporate experts to teach on campus and organizing student visits to the company, systematically develop a plan for aligning job requirements with the curriculum, continuously optimize its talent cultivation model, and steadily improve the compatibility between talent cultivation and regional industrial development, thereby providing strong talent support for high-quality economic and social development in the region.
